These Pecula 4×3.5" folding banquet cards are $7 for 120 at the Bezos store.

Lots people EDC all sorts of paper solutions: notebooks from Field Notes to Travelers large and small, etc., specialized and regular index cards, Post It notes, you name it.

These folding banquet cards work for me in two ways. First, I use one side for a daily to do list. Important items go above the fold, routine and less important items go below the fold. On the back, I use the top section for my daily gratitude, and I jot any notes or reminders during the day below the fold.

When I am on the go, these fold down to 2×3.5" or business card size. So they are easy to stash in a wallet.

Which leads me to the second way these work for me — as back up paper stored in my wallet in case I need to write something down away from home. I always keep a fresh one in the wallet.

These banquet cards are nice and thick card stock. No pen would bleed through. And the size works better in a wallet for me than a folded 3×5" index card.

Finally, if you used a fresh one every workday for a year, you'd only be out $15. It's an economical solution to be sure.

There are lots of great paper solutions out there and YMMV, but if you are an index card user or thinking about trying index cards, don't sleep on the folding banquet card.
