Looking for information about a knife I just purchased

I just wanted to see if anyone has any information about this knife(short sword?). I purchased it recently for cheap from a Media Shack. It looked pretty cool so I figured it wasn’t a waste of money at least. I am mostly just curious to find out about its origins as it seems decently old, or if it is just a more recent beaten up touristy/souvenir type thing. The wear on it makes me believe it was actually used for something at som point, but with how good places have gotten at faking that stuff these days, you never know haha.
