Always wanted a nice Damascus steel knife, now I have 5!

    Do a lead test on them.  Please.   If you’re going to be using them for food, who knows what metals are in there.

    I know they look nice.  But they look cheaply made.   They are likely Pakistan backyard factory made blades.  They have all the hallmarks of such, including the little pin.   

    I would recommend maybe reconsidering using these for food.

    I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but those are not nice knives. When a deal seems too good to be true, it usually is.

    Im sorry buddy. You are not the first, and not the last to learn this the hard way. The price you paid, was higher than these are worth. They are the usual Pakistani Damascus blades, that sellers shamelessly sell as “Custom handmade damascus” knives, and sure, they are indeed damascus. Just made out of the worst, most available metals they can get their hands on.

    If you scroll thru this r/knives you will see similar posts almost daily, of someone falling for it as well.
