Looking to get a new fixed blade. I really like both of these. Main use will be an all around outdoor knife (kinda vague i know lol) but some basic bushcraft and survival skills kinda thing. Some things I like about each:
Cold steel ak47- I'd prefer the 3v steel and the extra bit of thickness
Wtg voyager- has a much nicer sheath and I prefer the grind.
Any recommendations on something similar would be great but im kinda set on these two.

  1. Mostly splitting wood and chopping = CS.
If you do a lot of cutting, slicing and whittling = WTG.
I base this purely on blade grind and thickness

  2. voyageur is a terrific camp knife with overlap to bushcraft stuff, the sheath is great and very snug too

  3. Look at the kabar becker line, they have many sheath and handle options, they’re the most ergonomic IMO
