Firstly, apologies for the beamshots being so dim, I had my exposure cranked up but that COB flood just doesn't show up amazingly on camera. Granted, it's not super powerful to begin with, I mean… this thing is really small, but still. All beamshots white balanced at 5000K.
I've been seeing a lot of posts popping up of this thing, coincidentally, I get the feeling I'm not the only one who pulled the trigger on some aliexpress deals (I've got something even cooler on the way!), $76 including the additional charges is quite good, not just for an LEP, but also a multi light source flashlight like this with COB cool white, red (forgot to get a pic 🫠), and the LEP.
Some notes on the light… The UI is janky as hell, why do LEPs have such wonk UI? For example, holding the button to change COB brightness takes like 3 seconds to change between the two levels. The cool white beams are icky. It's to be expected with an LEP, but the COB just sucks to look at, it's pretty cold and low CRI, but surprisingly no green! Cold but neutral. The polished silver finish somehow feels kinda cheap? It looks really cool but it's so slick.
Beyond those notes, I like the light, it's definitely very interesting. The LEP gives you a ton of range for something as small as the W3, and the COB light, although kinda gross as someone who prefers 3000-4000K high CRI, it's functional and gives you some decent close range flood.

My dad wants one of these (finally he is hooked lol)
I agree about COB, I would love if they would just use those bright LEDs like how the Sofirn HS21 uses on flood, even their if23pro LEDs aren’t nearly as bright
