Been trying to narrow my knives to one per maker (with a spyderco exception), and I think I am done with Hinderer. I love this knife. It is a non-flipper…check. I had the bowie but wasnt really into the blade shape. This is a spearpoint…check. It also has a custom hollow grind which I love. I also have a spanto and aside from it being a flipper, Im not a huge fan of the blade finish…so this checks that box. The only other thing I wanted was a fullered blade…but with this grind…Im very satisfied for now.
I have a few options with hardware and scales, so I think this will be the one…unless I do find my xm-18 grail…a fullered, spearpoint, non-flipper.
