I have a couple of these in different locations, and I believe they’re invaluable based on contents relative to weight. A “hyper hiker” (ultra light weight day hiker) told me it was not worth the 2.3 ounces. Group input?
-nail clippers
-Q-tips
-tooth picks
-small lip balm
-dental floss
-⬇️ not visible in picture due to rotation of tube, but also present
-Promethazine (x1)
-Ibuprofen (x2)
I’ve tried a handful of other items that didn’t make the cut, but like the current iteration.

If you use it carry it. That’s value enough.
An Ultra light hiker would rather let two advil rattle around the bottom of their bag and wear plastic wrap for shoes than put things in a container. They are wackadoos that have a consumption habit aimed at the ever moving goal post of making their pack lighter at any cost.
Putting a few commonly used items in a waterproof container that is easily pocketable (keisterable?) is a fantastic edc solution as it protects them and makes it convenient to find what you want and carry around.
