Hi fellow carriers, this is my first bag setup.

First, the items. In the back pocket I keep a battery charger and the cable for my Shokz headphones.

In the main pocket I keep a bag of zip ties and a roll of electrical tape, with room to spare for my keys and anything I pick up throughout my day.

In the middle pocket I keep a Rite-in-the-Rain notepad, a Gerber survival kit, standard utility blades, and hooked electrical utility blades.

In the front pocket I keep a stick of lip balm, a lighter, a pair of earplugs, and an altoids tin full of basic medical supplies such as bandaids and ibuprofen.

In the spare Velcro pocket I keep a SOG Powerpint and a bit extender.

In the side pouches I keep a small bottle of hand sanitizer and a length of paracord. I also have a few mini Nite-Ize carabiners and dedicated storage for up to 9 1/4 bits/adaptors.

The bag is an EastWest brand sling bag I found at an army surplus store. I carry it with me every day to work and whenever I'm out in nature. it's not super obtrusive to wear cross-slung or around the waist off to one side, and the kit I've picked out works well for my use cases. You may notice it's missing a few seemingly obvious items like main tools or writing utensils. I carry those things on-body every day, and this bag works as a supplement on days or outings where I deem it useful to have. So far it's been most useful for treating small injuries at work, charging other people's devices, taking notes, and storing small items I've scavenged from trails or waste metal from job sites. Feel free to give your thoughts and suggestions, and have a great weekend!
