Convoy L21A black 21700 flashlight

  2. Color temperature: 5000K
  3. mode: 20amps buck 12groups

These are both really solid flashlights for ~$45 with a Molicel P45B.

The SFT-42R throws a really tight beam way out there! At ~600 yards, the image is bright and clear. Intensity at ~200 yards is better than normal daylight, where I live in East Texas with normal skies this time of year.

The LHP73B is pretty impressive as well in this flashlight. It has a very broad and even beam that floods a huge area really well. At ~600 yards, things like fence posts and trees are clearly visible. At ~200 yards, you get a very bright, very wide, floody beam.

These flashlights are not what I would call pocketable, though in a large jacket pocket, I'm sure they would carry well. To get a similar performance with other brands, you would generally need to spend TWICE AS MUCH IMHO. For ~$45, ready to shine, these are both really good options if you don't mind the large reflector and head, and want a big powerhouse of a light in a somewhat smallish package, solid options.

Nice to hear your impressions of the lights!

This may be your perception with dilated pupils, but it is physically impossible. This light outputs no more than 500,000 candelas, which translates to an intensity of 15 lux at 200 yards. In comparison, even overcast daylight is at least 1000 lux, quite a bit more than 15.
