The moment I saw this knife debut, I knew I'd have to have it. First ZT I've owned in years. But I was really disappointed out of the gate. Gritty action, uneven edges, button lock stick, and a flipper detent that would get so badly stuck that the knife couldn't be deployed in that method. I see this knife priced between $300-$340 (I paid $310), and made in the 🇺🇸. I contemplated sending it in, but I was able to remedy all the issues myself. Pivot had trapped metal shavings, flipper tab was unevenly "finished" on the inside, button lock stick eventually resolved itself with use, and two hours spent evening up the edge. It's a smooth operator now, but it shouldn't have problems like that from the start, especially at that price. Anyone else had similar issues? Or with any recent ZT? I have one or two more on my radar, but I'm hesitant given that this knife was allowed to leave the factory in the condition that it did.
