After all the recent Winter blades dropped, I got the inspiration to slighty modify my Conspirator. Who have handled this knife before probably noticed that the huge blade develops well but when closing it tends to bounce off the steel pin and it does not close properly everytime.
I thought to add a couple of very slim magnets into the scale recesses to keep the blade from self deploying unintentionally while closing.
This had the beneficial effect of slightly increasing the detent before opening it, which zi might say, I am a fan of.

Some minor cleanup was already scheduled for today so this small mod could be done in. Matter of minutes, let’s see if I’m gonna like it in the long run
