Thats odd. While I don’t own that specific version, mine are dead even without artifacts.
I’m guessing you have some sort of reflector problem. Is it frosted or smooth?

It’s no secret that the B35AM is a floody emitter, but I thought I could squeeze a little bit of throw out of it in the S6, with its deeper reflector compared to the S2+.
However, the beam quality leaves a lot to be desired. The spill is very uneven and there’s an ugly dark spot right in the center of the hot spot. These artifacts kind of defeat the purpose of an emitter that’s supposed to provide excellent color rendering.
This quick beamshot came from a Samsung S23 camera with auto settings, but it turned out pretty well and showcases what I’m talking about.
I’ll keep rocking the B35AM in a S2+ with a beaded TIR optic, as that provides a nice uniform beam. The SFT-12r remains my favorite emitter for a pocket thrower like the S6 or T6.
