Don’t see this done too often. Is it cause it looks too close to rust? I personally like how it looks and it’s a pretty easy process, just not documented much in the knife community.

Not my thing but I’m sure some people will see the appeal, it has an aged look to it.
It is a bit rusty, could be cool in the right application. Maybe scales? Those are very cool btw
I’d totally throw that on a knife that I’d want to have a falloutesque look to it
