There are a lot of posts asking for suggestions of 14500 lights. Nearly never this flashlight was suggested. Probably for a reason. Moreover, there are only three posts on the whole sub about this light, and two of them by u/macomako.

So, what we got here. L2S has sort of unique set of features:
– dual fuel buck/boost driver
– mechanical forward clicky
– onboard usb-c charging with proper screwing cover
– cheap AF

All together makes it a very interesting light, not only for edc, but also for emergency bags, as a spare light, for tool pouches and so on.

What's wrong with it? Mainly, the emitter. Cold, green, low CRI. As it is 3535 I plan to swap it for 519a. My light also had significant misalignment of TIR and emitter which caused asymmetrical and ringy hotspot (refunded half of its price for this issue). For now I put Convoy 17mm 45° TIR into it, but will try 20° and 30° lens when they come. 45° lens made the beam much better, but I would prefer it to be a bit tighter. Threads were glued, but that wasn't a big problem. Anodizing is shit and scrapes off just by rotation of the clip. Last one is the switch. I don't like forward clickies and will swap it to Convoy reverse one.
