UPS delivered my Haptic today, just before lunch! I'd sent her out to Holt Bladeworks for a complete refresh and to remove a stripped liner lock screw. Also got a totally new custom anodizing job from Angey in the process. Id been given an approximate quote for the total cost of services, and clarified that this specimen would be a family heirloom to my granddaughter.
Well, Angey sent me an email a few days ago saying my Haptic was on the way back. She also said there was no charge for the services or new anodizing job! I only paid for the cost of return shipping!
A simple Thank you doesn't adequately convey just how much I appreciate everything Angey has done for me. I haven't read any other examples of high end, custom knife makers going above and beyond for their customers, especially one who wasn't even the original buyer/owner!
