Yesterday I posted about my Vero Lux 3.3 Bacon with stiff/gritty action. I disassembled it, cleaned it, adjusted the lock bar and messed with the pivot. None of it fixed the issue. The lube is what did it. I’ve never had a knife act this was even when super dry, but someone else pointed out that damascus blades can act a bit different when they get really dry which I suspected COULD be a variable in the situation, but I’ve never had any damasteel/damascus blades so I wasn’t sure. After applying some lube today and adjusting the lock bar and pivot some more the action is fantastic. It’s not as nice as say my BRB4 or anything but it’s up there. Thank you to all who had some helpful advice and suggestions. And even those with snide comments and remarks. They gave me a good laugh.
