I purchased a previously owned Holt Haptic on the secondary market on 01/01/26. Unfortunately, it came to me with a stripped liner lock screw. The previous owner stated he'd never disassembled it, so he probably received it this way. The original anodizing also had signs of wear, so I sent it to Holt Bladeworks for service.

Angey Holt was very responsive from the start, and I feel she went above and beyond to address my concerns. She even offered to burnish it and reanodize it to custom colors of my choice!

The previous options were to either strip all anodizing, or refresh the original anodizing, so that was an unexpected surprise to say the least!

I frequently see posts about other manufacturers with poor customer service or experience, and wanted to recognize those manufacturers which have provided the absolute best customer service and experience.

Holt Bladeworks and Machinewise are at the top of the list. My personal interactions have always been pleasant, and they have always been quick to reply to emails. Angey even replied on a late Sunday evening, when I least expected it.

These are 2 companies who really stand behind their products and treat the customer with respect. Thank you for your time, and have a great rest of your day!
