WARNING: This is what I feel is a long post and read… if you don't have time I don't blame you. But if you have time to read through and chime in, I would appreciate it greatly.
This is an update to my previous post below. Also, if there's somewhere else I should post this instead/also, please let me know.

So update, Greg declined to help with this since he determined I damaged the knife after inspecting it.
Context of MY side of what happened when I first received the knife:
- Knife arrived at my house around 3:55 PM, mom was work from home, so we met with UPS guy. Tracking 1ZW946340393667612
- She leaves it near the front door until I get home from work, maybe around 5 PM
- I get home and take the box to my room to open
- I do NOT take a video of me opening the box. I normally do this for used expensive knives, but since this one was brand new, I didn't think of it. Huge mistake #1 on my part
- I take the strix out and immediately take the pictures from post one (the full body pictures at least)
- I open and close it a couple of times. Thumb flick, reverse flick, front flipper.
- I notice some markings on the blade, so I try to wipe it off with a new microfiber cloth
- That doesn't work, so I take pictures and e-mail Greg at 5:22 PM (that's the beginning of our conversation regarding the damaged knife in the e-mail. I also post on the subreddit (previous post)
Almost all of our details are in our e-mail exchange below:
This link is easier to read the worded e-mails: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VTsgOLYHk1SFipLGY8koheDl7Ggxwled/view?usp=drive_link
This link is easier to see the pictures we sent eachother:

His e-mails that say it wouldn't happen in stock config without disassembly and stuff doesn't make sense to me, since I literally just opened and closed the knife when I got it the first time, and didn't even cut paper with it because I saw the markings before I even had a chance to.
I also tried to see how much lateral force it took for the knife to touch the handle in this video, when i received the knife back today:
(There is an echo though so you can mute if you'd like, unsure why that was happening. It's literally me showing how I reverse flick, where i would have "damaged" the knife)

The last e-mail I wrote was earlier today, after receiving the knife back, asking one more time for him to help me.
I'm currently debating on just doing a charge back or selling the knife to hopefully get my money back.

Sorry if you don’t want to be tagged, I just figured I should tag anyone that was on the previous post.
I’m mostly wanting more peoples’ opinion since I feel like I’m just nagging at this point and should just sell the thing or just chargeback and send it back and move on lol.
Also I feel like I’m pretty transparent (knife swap posts, sale posts, etc), so if you guys have any questions, let me know.
I wanted one but kinda dont now based on this. Like dude i(you) want this knife, based off tracking amd when I got home from work and opened and noticed want timesheet? I understand high quality and intense inspections but this one failed and made it out. I would love to come to a resolution but at this point it’s becoming unreasonable. If nothing do charge back or see if you can sell on swap.what you got in it. Might be hard but man Greg should know things happen
