I hAvE mY PhONe

You need a flashlight because

1. Phone light is weak

2. You want to preserve phone battery.

3. You cannot see anything more than 5 ft ahead with phone

4. Must have for early morning and evening commute.

5. Cheaper and less riskier than phone. No snatcher will snatch your light.

6. Works great for safety. People hesitate when you point 3000 lumens towards them. Flash once on someone driving in the wrong lane and most of the time they correct their path. Flash at feral dogs/animals and they retreat

7. A good light lights up 50-100 ft ahead of you. Makes walking much safer in narrow roads, dark alleys etc.

8. Easy to point out critters.

9. Quick. A flashlight is on in less than half a second. Suppose something bit you , hit you or you sense something moving. You cannot fumble through notification bar to turn it on.

10. Usable. A flashlight points where you aim it. The phone light just spreads everywhere and ruins your night vision. A dog 10 ft away is less visible AFTER turning on the phone flash. Moreover it light you up so I guess it's actually the dog who can see better where to bite you.
