i am past mid point in life, but i do still expect or hope to live longer than any of those built in and unreplaceable batteries last. also, built to last forever item does not really exist with electronics anymore. there is no such thing as one light.
but for long term i would pick one of the heavier full metal lights, be it titanium, copper, stainless, brass..
