I really need me an indoor light with some warm and red leds, so I figured that d4k will be just right for me, since all my frequently used lights are based on 21700.
The only thing that is stopping me from ordering now is the driver. While the single channel version offers a boost driver upgrade, the dual channel version uses FET+linear, so I'm afraid that with warm hi cri NTG35 max sustained output will be really low, while i don't really need that 4000 lm turbo
Was I spoiled by buck/boost drivers or there's nothing to be afraid of with this d4k linear?
