I Just received the Wuben X1 Pro, It was small enough to make me question its power/output. But is bright & works well. The UI is a bit disappointing but simple. I am in Northern Canada so when I received it was so cold I couldn't hold it in my hand. I let it warm up then test/grade the batteries and they are all good When I received the shipping box there was dents in the box so I recorded me opening it as proof If there was damage it wasn't me and it was either ubi or Canada post or cbsa (Canadian customs). there was no damage to the items inside luckily and everything in the box was correct.
The throw is surprisingly comparable to my Warrior Ultra in terms of beam, another thing is that the holster makes me worried about it unlocking the battery latch when taking the flashlight out. It feels dense and is heavy but in a way that makes your brain think premium/durable. I am trying to stay away from olight since they use expensive proprietary batteries that irritate me.
The fan is more quiet then what it sounds like in people's YouTube reviews.
I would only recommend buying this if on sale for a decent price if you have my same hate for olights proprietary batteries. If you like flashlights that allow you to swap batteries or upgrade batteries the future as technology advances. or want something that can be used for emergencies like I do. Or a flashlight with high lumens. (that's a trick question, don't be a lumen chaser.) Now sustained brightness from the active cooling works. I don't think it sustained 3000lm but it definitely was 2000-2500lm and had better throw then the warrior ultra, the throw appeared to almost be half a kilometre (500m) in (Spot + throw mode) turbo mode.
Because I'm in a cold environment lithium batteries tend to be slower which could be why its slightly underperforming. As my first wuben experience I actually already prefer wuben to olight and its only been 5 hours. If you were an loyal Olight buyer, the x1pro experience so far is actually better in my opinion and definitely when compared the marauder mini 2 which doesn't allow Turbo when the battery goes below 70-65%
The case is a pelican v100 hard case (cheaper is why i got as its just for organizing and drop protection as i have anxiety about the lens breaking) I keep cables/ Warrior Ultra & wuben x1pro holsters/powerbanks in different cases. wuben does give you extra screws. which is great especially if customs takes everything apart and doesn't put it back together or loses screws.
due to the baked black coating I'm worried about scratches

Sorry I meant to say Spot and flood
not spot + throw 🤣
Got mine too (white version), I like it so far. I did find that it’s possible to press the button when removing the USB cable, but I’m currently using a small 90 degree cable so that’s probably not a real problem.
