Noticed some rust build up on the edge of my scales and after taking them off i found way more rust then expected. turns out one of my scales had defects in it to were it wasn't flat and was trapping water under it so to avoid rust build up in the future I decided to try paracord wrapping it. I took a piece of 550 cord and removed the inner cords to make it lay flat. I think it turned out really nice and feels really good in the hand. opinions would be helpful for next time if there's anything you think i can do to improve or if a different wrapping style will work better. i think the wrap I did was considered a cobra braid. It's the same style that is used when making a paracord bracelet. I also want yo eventually form a new kydex sheath for it. So I can have a much nicer sheath that fits my carry style best. Since this is my edc.

Well, just to throw it out there in case you didn’t know. There are some after market scales for the minimalist. I haven’t bought them cuz I like the minimalist as is but just a heads up in case you were interested.
I need these in an xxxl size. I like somenof the designs and weird blades, but its like a barbie knife in my hand.
