Curious the thoughts of the sub on this knife. $1000 retail and over $1700 on Ebay.
I get that Demko has a lot of fans and his stuff is popular, however IMHO this thing is completely pointless as a knife. It's for Cold Steel/ Demko fans as a collector's item that would never leave the house. If you need a knife this big you're probably in the woods or somewhere that you could be carrying a sheathed fixed blade on your hip… and you can get some excellent fixies in the $150-$300 range.
This knife has a blade 0.325 inches longer than an Umnumzaan and it's more than double the weight. It seems like a self-indulgent purchase and a 'safe queen' for probably every single buyer… but as someone with a strong preference for CRK maybe I'm biased. Curious to hear the thoughts of the group.
