I am trying to design some sort of beam splitter for a small 18650 flashlight, say a convoy s2+. The purpose would be to get the ability to transform the s2 (in deep red) into a signalling bidirectional lantern.

The splitter, if that’s the right name, would be placed onto the head just like a diffuser, but instead of diffusing the light it would ideally split the beam in 2 and redirect it at +90° and -90° (front and back, see sketch)

Has anyone have experience with this? What would be the best way of doing it? I saw online some optical cubes made of solid glass that could do, but I saw them used mainly with lasers. Another way could be with mirrors and a small 3d printed structure.

Any idea is welcome.
