This set of tools + the knife in my pocket + the rovyvon flashlight and gerber shard on my keys gets me through basically everything I will see on the day to day from my campus job in the art curators office, to fixing loose holds on the climbing wall as a routesetter, to working on class projects, to engineering team (NASA USLI rocketry) work. Anything that I'm missing I can check out at my school's tool check out window. I also have a socket set in the car and an impact driver in my room.
Most used tools are definitely the calipers first, knipex pliers second, and the hex keys third.
The tool roll is custom sewn from what was originally a tiffen camera filter case and when fully loaded takes up a footprint measuring 8 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 2 inches thick.
Both the calipers and the tool roll stay in my backpack's water bottle pocket when not being used.
Thinking about getting either the pliers wrench or maybe the Irwin 4" needle nose/regular vice grips because I really use the cobras a lot and I almost prefer carrying them in my pocket.
