I just got the raw magnesium RMX. It dropped on Monday and sold out in a couple hours so I was excited to be able to snag one.
It is supposed to develop some really cool patina as you use it over time. I have some copper items in my EDC collection and have liked watching them evolve. I have always been intrigued by bronze watches for the same reason.
Reading the care card reveals some pretty intense requirements that come with the privilege of owning a raw magnesium knife. Maybe I will soon find it is not worth the effort to keep it from having a nasty reaction.
But for now I’m still excited about it and will post some progress pictures as it starts to patina… or rust from neglect!
