Hey everyone. I picked up my first knife a few weeks back on a whim as I wanted to start carrying one for daily tasks. I researched and found this civivi elementum 2 for a good price, and realize now as a parent how much I’ve been missing out carrying a knife. My hands are thanking me every time I don’t need to rip a plastic package open.
My question here is what do I look at next? While I do love this civivi, I’d like to try some different knives as I really have nothing to compare this to. I’ve read about Spyderco and Benchmade and all the “big” names but looking for actual opinions on what I should check out.
– needed for regular daily tasks. Not out in the woods cutting branches or wood or anything like that.
– I’d like at least one “small” blade for when I’m at work for sure.
Appreciate any help and insight and thank you in advance!

Realistically, you’re set with that knife.
Edit: tell us what you like and dislike about that knife and we can tell you which knives you could look for.
Same. This is my first. Now I’m hunting for the next one.

Not sure what to look for. I did do some research on metal types. Kind of interesting.
The world is your oyster, so many 🔪so little ⏰😁
For me, a spyderco delica or dragonfly with a wharncliffe blade is a perfect edc/ parent knife.
