Vosteed Thunderbeast / Kiser Militaw S45VN

Both highly recommendable knives. I owned previous versions of these knives, was very disappointed, and ended up selling them right away.

Technically the other Vosteed was the Thunderbird (close enough) and the detent was so light using magnets I just couldn't enjoy it at all. The Vanchor lock in the Thunderbeast fixed that dramatically. Throw in some Ti scales and an M390 blade, this knife is now amazing!

With the Kiser, I originally purchased the NitroV/micarta version way back, early in my collecting journey. I saw so many posts and reviews saying that it was one of the greatest knives ever made in its price point. Nope, not for me. Felt cheap and the action was just so so. Recently I have chatted with some Redditors and they said the titanium version is nothing like it's budget brother. So I finally broke and purchased this one in S45VN.

Man o man, this might be the best $200ish dollar knife I have ever bought. Polished DLC, fat carbon inlays, and fantastic action. I am so glad I gave this knife another chance because it is absolutely a gem in the rough!
