I just got this today and really wanted to get some beamshots as soon as possible to share, not sure if the smoke haze will help or hurt the demonstration of the light, but I think it's neat at the very least.

All beamshots are white balanced at 5000K.

I like the M21H host, this is my second one, it looks and feels good to me. It's no FC11C or D4K, but it's still reasonably compact while also being capable of a ton of power.

The 4000K CCT version of the LHP73B is pretty nice to use, although it gets a bit higher in CCT at high power. The tint is surprisingly good for a low CRI, high power emitter, it's pretty neutral.

I wasn't sure how I would feel about the altered UI of the 3V 20A side switch driver, but it isn't bad. The smooth ramp is quicker and you aren't spending two years waiting for it to reach the top of the ramp. The moonlight is a surprisingly good level, it's pretty dim and not even remotely blinding, I imagine it would work great for those waking up in the middle of the night and needing to use the bathroom without annihilating sleep brain. The bottom of ramp however… I think it should be lower. I spent a couple hours outside getting my beamshots and when I was just walking from location to location, I legitimately never needed to ramp up, it's that usable outside, and a little much for indoors around the house. I like the better battery voltage check, it works similar to Anduril 2, so if you're at 3.8V, it'll blink three times, pause, then blink eight times. It doesn't do a third digit, but not being able to see whether I'm at 3.84V or 3.87V doesn't really bother me at all. I quite like the 2H for momentary turbo from on or off, it's actually fairly intuitive and works really well. I'm typically only using turbo for short bursts anyway, so holding the button the whole duration and then releasing the button to go back to ramp just… works.

The beam shape is really nice, it's not perfect and there is a ring in it that you can see just a little if you're wall hunting, but besides that it's a very good general purpose beam. It's got a decent bit of throw but also a lot of flood, it fills areas with light without issue.

Overall, even though I've pretty much just got this thing, I can definitely recommend it. I mean… it's $26… minus battery, but I'm using an RS50. Convoy keeps putting out these bargain priced lights that also perform really well. I'm probably gonna start recommending this or the M21K to people who want tons of power at little expense. Side switch is great, and built-in USB-C recharging is very layman friendly, no need for a separate bay charger for lithium-ions.
