I posted a few weeks ago looking for suggestions on junk drawer lights. I ended up with a convoy t3 and t5 for the drawer (alkaline or lithium) and an extra t3 with a USB rechargeable 14500 for working in the garage or outside. All with 519A at 5000k, which are exactly what I wanted.
I was so impressed by the build quality and the light itself that I decided to get something bigger.
After lots of browsing this sub and the convoy site, I ended up ordering an M3-C with 26800 battery. I chose the XHP70.3 HI R9050 at 4000k, after seeing many suggestions for high CRI with warm temp.
I'm blown away with how high quality this flashlight feels in the hand. It's heavy enough, but not too much. The light this thing outputs is nothing short of incredible, to my older eyes. The CRI is perfect, colors looks just right, and way brighter than any of the cheap lights I've purchased in the past. I'm sure there are more expensive more impressive lights, but I'm so pleased with this one.
Thank you to everyone who replied to my original post with suggestions, everyone was so helpful and nice.
I was surprised by the heat that gets generated in turbo mode, it even popped the USB cover after a few minutes warming up. I need to decide if I like the ramping mode or the fixed step mode, time will tell.
I'm not sure what the two extra o-rings are for, I can't see anywhere they go. There is also a green round pcb like object with a gold button like contact on both sides I can't figure out, any suggestions would be appreciated.
All this to say, thank you for being a great community, I look forward to lurking and seeing everyone's much cooler lights.

Very nice that you’re enjoying these lights! The 2 extras are just that: extras. If you ever break/lose one on your light, now you’ve got backups.
Convoy really are good quality lights.
Some knock them because they are budget lights, but budget doesn’t mean poor quality.Â
