My first convoy lights turned up a couple of days ago.
Absolutely over the moon with the performance of these, even the little T5 puts out a shocking amount of light for its size.
T5 519a 1800k for my partner – She loves the warmth regardless of cri. Next up for her is a LHP73B 1800K likely in a M21B.
M1 SFT42R 5000K – I heard rumours and asked Simon nicely and he came through, 5000k and I'm really pleased with my choice. Much nicer than 6500k like all my other 'throwers' but still plenty of reach and outright brightness, so I don't feel like it's lost anything vs 6500k. Absolute pocket rocket, the reach is incredible for its size and the hotspot grows to a really nice size at a few hundred metres away.
L21B SFT42R 5000K – Absolutely blown away by this, incredible intensity at range, same story with 5000k, really don't feel like I've lost anything vs 6500k. Much more pocketable than I was expecting (jacket of course)
Some boring brick wall shots with camera WB locked to 4000k (what I see on the screen best matches what I see with my eyes at this WB) 6400iso and 1/250 shutter speed.
All on low/1% output in the photos just to show difference in colour temperature more than anything else.
I took them out for a little walk but didn't manage any beam shots, I am going out somewhere more interesting tomorrow so I'll try for some proper beans.
