Grimsmo Norseman – customized
Always have a special place in my heart reserved for Grimsmo knives. So when choosing a knife to be a pinnacle custom for the collection the choice was obvious. The Norseman has big plain handles, ideal to accommodate a big design.
Wanted to utilize the blade surface also, and the somewhat weird shape of the blade dictated the choice of the picture. Went with a Dark Souls series collage, a knight wielding a Fume Ultra Greatsword. Love the smooth transition between the handle and the blade. The lazerwork was perfectly executed by a talented master S.Bondarenko. Although, this work is not as complex as the Chaves I posted before, it has a lot of hidden details, visible on macro. What gives it a vivid look are different textures to all materials on the picture. Steel, leather, fur, cloth – they have different patterns of lazer micro-milling. The clip is stamped by a nickname, to be sure that no matter what, zero chances to sell it 😀
