I don’t buy knives from gun makers the same way I don’t buy appliances from tech companies, steaks from diners, or sushi from grocery stores.
S&W does something that they’re good at, and it ain’t making knives.

Check out CRKT. I really like their knives. They’re a company here in the USA, but their knives are made in China, but the quality is good for the price/value. Their Designs are pretty nice as well. Kershaw is actually another pretty good brand. I saw some of their USA made knives were under $100.

It’s a good beater knife to use when you don’t care what happens to it. Easy to keep sharp, but will need sharpening often.
