Pictured are some of my favorite 21700 single cell lights that do a really fucking good job at holding sustained outputs around 1000 lumens, in various form factors. And combined with their build quality, they've become some of my all time favorite.

Left to right we have:
FFL L70 helios in xhp 70.3 ,
D4K 519a
E75 519a NW
L16 2.0 Sft 42r
FFL E04 with the sft 40
Zebralight Sc700D Xhp 70.3
Armytek Wizard C2 pro max
Acebeam L35 2.0 Xhp 70.3

and lastly the FFL E12R , 12x 519a.

Now that we're in 2026 I'm wondering if there's a clear pack leader that's defined the bleeding edge of sustaines runtimes on a single 21700 cell around the 1000 lumen mark.

It's my understanding that thus far the Sc700D with the xhp 70.3 , the Wizard c2 Pro Max, and the FFL E07x v2 with the lumex1 are likely the 3 that can hold 1000 ish lumens for the absolute longest on a single 21700 cell, maybe the l35 2.0 falls in that pack as well.

Now that some stupid high capacity 21700's are hitting the market like the 6000+ Mah offerings, and now that tabless 21700s are entering the market Im wondering if theres a clear winner in this category.

Any input or knowledge is appreciated. Ultimately I am looking to add more high sustained output lights to my collection.

Cheers.
