So, 15 years since my last (and one and only) "serious" knife purchase, a Spyderco Tenacious. As per a previous post, Ive been meddling around with budget beaters since then.
Finally had enough, and said Id pull the trigger on a knife thats been on my mind since I saw it first, the CRJB Pyrite Lite.
I tell you what, I absolutely love this thing. A few observations:

  • The FRN is a lot more solid in-hand than I expected, probably owing to the inset liners.
  • This thing breezed through paper fresh out of the box.
  • Im pretty boring in a lot of ways, traditional blade shapes appeal to me, but the acute tip and overall profile of this blade is just brilliant, I love it.

Ill be keeping the Tenacious for the grunt work, but this little beauty will be my EDC.
