There’s not a whole lot you can’t make with a sturdy fixed blade and a SAK. Especially one with an awl and saw. I made a few try sticks out of some pistache branches I cut down to hang my Bird Buddy, and a little container by hollowing out a stalk of soap tree yucca. I used this Mors Kochanski inspired blade from Brian Sargent at SET. It’s convexed Magnacut and natty canvas micarta.

The awl and saw on the SAK Farmer are awesome. The awl can start and widen out bowls and begin hollowing out the yucca stalk and the saw made finish the job easy. The SET is such a smooth operator. It can do anything from hogging wood, cutting rope and hay bale straps, cutting steaks, to fine detail work.

What are some things you use your knives or multitools to make?
