I have this Excalibur, sweet knife. However, I noticed that the diamond pattern gets flat towards the butt on the show side. Was curious if anyone else has noticed this?
I emailed Kunwu and got a this is normal reply. Doesn’t seem normal to me.

Not a defect lol
Yes thats a defect. I just watched 3 videos of the Excalibur and I cant see any flattening spot on those. No idea why that would even be an intentional design choice. I just received a Demko AD20.5 with the jimping 90% ground off for soem reason. From the demko website. Without any pictures, they’ve already sent me a replacement and sent me a return shipping label to ship back the defective one. Night and day customer service if Kunwu isn’t helping you
You gotta talk to Maggie at Kunwu service. She’ll get it figured out…

Not sure why you are getting downvoted other than Kunwu fanboyism. This does not seem intentional. Attached picture from their website for reference. Also I own 2 diamond pattern Kunwus and they don’t flatten out at the end like that.
Looks like it took a light hit to a grinding wheel or something.
