Hey all – first I want to say thanks to this community for helping me access the flashlight obsessed being within me. Next – a question. Two months ago I bought 2 Wurkkos FC11C (one for me, one for spouse). They worked great, charged great and have mostly sat in bags as EDC since then (not used much). We both went to charge them in the last week and both flashlights stayed on solid red. Tried multiple cords, outlets, inspected batteries, nothing changed. Flashlights still work and the button is green when we turn them on. Are the charging circuits malfunctioning? Have they just not been used enough to register a charge? Something else? Guidance and wisdom appreciated!

I think solid red means charging, how long did you leave them plugged in for? I think it takes a few hours to charge

Clean battery contacts & make sure it’s screwed together securely.?

Buy a cheap usb-power meter ;)…and you’ll be able to tell if it’s charging. It will also reveal what it is doing when it appears to be stuck, or charge for ages. Most like doing a very low trick charge trying to top off the battery… 0.05A or something.

I think solid red is charging for some, look around for different topics because this has been brought up before. (The funky charging of FC11(C)) in general is discussed often, maybe those topics will reveal something.).

The charging light is a little fiddly for me as well but it appears to be charging properly so not super worried about it
