The edge shot is caused by brass or stainless reflections from the edge of the tube.
The center is caused by the gasket, you can try to re seat it.

Ive swapped emitters a bunch and learned the hard-way, to have multiple gasket/ reflector combos on hand
Not all emitters work well with all reflectors/hosts
-If it came that way from simon the gasket and reflector are probably “correct” (though not all of convoys optics / gaskets perfectly focus certain emitters)
maybe re seat the gasket and try centering the reflector as you tighten thing back up.

That’s why I’m not a fan of the S21b because that bezel causes rings with so many emitters.
I’ve sanded my bezel down and swapped in a B35AM 3500k and it’s much better but I will still probably paint it.
As for the centering, you do know the trick of putting it on low and holding it a few inches from the wall until the emitter shows up as a dark spot within a disk of light?
