I work on a farm in Australia, and I picked up a gerber paraframe last time i was in town, just for light work like cutting hay band and skining roos for dog meat but idk, are they made to last and do they stay sharp

If you’re doing real work, I’d spend a little more for higher quality knife. This is the golden age of very good, fairly inexpensive knives.

I mean, it’ll do light cutting tasks. Is it made to last? Not really. Will it stay sharp? Not for long, but it’ll be very easy to touch up. It’s a cheap knife made of cheap materials. For the money they cost, you can do much better. But it’ll do the job, for a time.

  3. They used to be decent, 15 or so years ago. Now their quality has kind of gone downhill.
