Got this knife a few weeks ago and love everything about it. But man the uneven grind is really quite tragic. It’s just an eye sore. I’ve heard uneven grinds can happen with spyderco but hate to see it on this guy.
I feel like I’m looking at Sydney Sweeney, but when I look at her face there’s a giant mole or a missing tooth or something. Still hot, but damn.
Anybody else get a wonky edge? Is it as bad as I think?

They haven’t been the same the last few years either. Bummer.
It do be like that sometimes
I just don’t understand a complaint about an edge grind outside of at point of sale. Yes. It should have come out of the factory with a better grind. You can also fix such a thing in minutes.
Or, if you are sane, you can use the knife, and ignore a meaningless cosmetic issue, as long as the actual edge is well produced. I’ll never understand this kind of take.
If you’re talking about the edge bevel just fix it. Problem solved and you can give it whatever look you want.
If you don’t want to take off any life you can drop back just a hair from the apex so you barely miss it and even out your bevel, then on the next actual sharpen it will finish it off.
They’re definitely wonky lately with their edges.
Yeah that’s the first thing I noticed. That’s pretty rough I can’t lie lol, I’d try to exchange or return it.
Buy yourself an angle-guided sharpening set like Lansky’s, learn how to sharpen, and your problems will vanish into thin air…
Just stop looking at it bro lol. Nobody else is. I literally can’t even see wtf you’re talking about. I have a PM2 that is uneven as well. I’m just going to use it and sharpen the side that needs to come down.
I’ve sharpened a lot of Spyderco EDCs and they have always been some degree of wonky. That one is quite a bit more uneven than I normally see.
Buy a Worksharp professional and you will never have this problem again.
Nice where did you get it
