My humble collection. Just wondering what people’s opinion would be on what I should add? Obviously I’m a fan of Spyderco. I had a Benchmade Bugout for a bit. Decided I didn’t like the plastic…I mean “grivory” scales. Just got the Bailout over on Knife Swap recently. It’s pretty slick and sharp.
Favorite: Para 3 by a country mile. It’s so comfortable to me. Love the scales, love the compression lock, love the thumb ramp, love the blade shape…I just love it.
Least Favorite: Native 5…I love the way it looks but that’s where it ends. Mine is so stiff, it’s hard to even open. Especially when compared with all the other knives which are smooth as butter. I hate the back lock action. I want it to be a 1 handed operation but it’s just so awkward closing it with 1 hand and I’m not too cool to admit I’ve cut myself once while trying to 1 hand close it. The scales are just…I dunno, scratchy? I really love the blade shape and size though.
Anybody got cool suggestions around these same pocketable sizes for less than $250? No assisted automatic or spring loaded stuff pls.
