Well I don’t think this is a recommendable mod.. but I did it.
First off the driver and emitter came from a convoy s21e config I had changed over to 3v.
I had to cut the nubs off the side of the driver pcb as well as remove the usb-c port.. oh well i don’t charge that way anyhow
To keep the top of the driver from shorting against the host a ~ 20mm o-ring placed between the head of the host and top of driver seemed to work.
The 50.3 reflowed nicely on the origional mcpcb.
Happy to have this torch back in rotation after being down for defect anduril driver.
