I’ve had a few knives come and go. Buck 110, CRKT Redemption, Benchmade Mini Crooked River. I’ve given these away over the years, and I’ve curated my collection down to the Benchmade Magnacut Osborne 940, Leatherman ARC, and MKC Traditions Magnacut Supercub. I had it all. EDC, multitool, and fixed blade. I thought I would stick to these three forever, without ever being tempted to buy another knife…

Until now. You’re looking at the post of a man who just dumped a bunch of money and succumbed to a Chris Reeve Small Inkosi Magnacut Drop-Point with Natural Canvas Micarta. I’m so excited, but I feel sick at the same time.

Don’t feel sick man! Its a plain CRK! I dropped $2,250 on a chris reeve and shirogorov collaboration. Its a decent mid knife you have, actually use it though man. Its a tool and it’ll last you forever. Its manufactured for use.

  2. Congrats, youre on a slippery part of the slippery slope.

The first is hard. The next is easier.

Soon you be realizing youre okay with 2 CRK’s, and that leads into… one knife at double the price of a CRK.

Nice! If it makes you feel any better, my favorite part of CRK folders is that you can easily get more hardware, or a new blade rather than buying a whole new knife. Just kinda makes me excited to use it knowing I can service it and keep it going in the long term.

You won’t wanna carry anything else once that’s broken in. CRK’s are so nice. My pj sabenza has seen more pocket time than almost any other in my collection
