Help picking out D4V2

I want to get my real first flashlight and always wanted a hank light. Just over whelmed with what to pick for the emitter. Any recommendations? I’ll edc this light and would prefer more throw since I’m thinking of getting the DT8 since I hear that flashlight is excellent for flood. And help would be appreciated.
