I got this 2x AA flashlight as a young boyscout and love the form factor and simplicity. One button on the back, one output mode. I have more modern lights but this one lives in my nightstand because it always works and nothing can go wrong. It's just not very bright (180ish lumens), is there a more modern version of this? I'd be ok with a high and low setting but I dont want it to be overly complicated. Any help help would be appreciated.
P.S. As a fun side story, when I got this light it was the brightest in camp, roughly 2016. Not only was it the brightest but, our campsite was overrun with spiders and I used the front of this light to smash and kill about 2 dozen of them. The durability has been unbeatable, its been submerged, beaten, and abused. No light is better than the one you can count on.
