Legal in the country I’m living, I chose the Remette knife because I could not access to the Reate EXO-M and would like to experience a gravity knife.
The blade is deploying very smoothly with a big “klung” of metal at the end. Retracting the same.
The locking mechanism is efficient, but requires sometimes to be pressed on with the finger to lock fully. Once done, the blade is not fiddling anymore.
The manufacturing detail are amazing especially on the handle scale.
The clip however is somewhat a bit to short and not flexible enough. You’ll rip easily your clothes and need to carefully insert it in your pocket by slightly bending the clip. As well for that price the club is badly centered. It makes me a little mad.
The steel is good (20CV equivalent to M390).
The whole packaging is nice (box, leather pouch, zip pouch + microfiber cloth)
I was afraid about the size as my favorite knife is a smock or a PM2 , but actually I quite like it. The only thing, it’s a little too thick, I would have prefer a slicker version.
Anyway quite happy, but still eyeballing the Reate one …
