Some beans as requested!

Exposure was locked to the W1 6000K for all images. Lights were all at turbo for distance shots, and the distances were about 30m, 180m, 200m, and 220m.

White wall hunting, the SFT-40 has a really nice and perfectly circular beam vs the W1 (but that’s more due to emitter alignment, right?). The W1 doesn’t look that green to my eyes.

As expected, the SFT-40 does get hotter quicker than the W1, but the hotspot is wider and the CCT is more pleasant. Most of the time, I find myself wanted more candela/stronger hotspot than a wall of light. And while I love the KR1 W1, I wanted something a little more pleasant and flex a little more towards a practical EDC beam. The SFT-40 is still a little narrow for that I think, but it throws a respectable distance for the CCT and size. I’m really liking this light. Makes me feel like I’m in a horror film lol
