So the real reason why I did this was I had a SFH55 and a 9090 25mm PCB laying around. The tir fits PERFECTLY around the outside of the led. I'd say it makes the beam 1.25/1.5x wider? and given the math between the LHP73B and SFH55 maybe like 500 more lumens at most. And Yes, Yes the LHP has better tint.
